Our Story
The Dip & Dye Store was founded in November 2020, when five best friends initiated an idea for one of their university group projects. What started out to be a fictional organization in a report was soon transformed into an actual start up. The initial idea and the limited product range of only 10 T-Shirts has grown into a registered business of over more than 200 products in different ranges. Today the brand 'The Dip & Dye Store' employs a skilled team of tie dye designers and retail experts to cater to our customers in the best possible manner. We operate in different E-Commerce channels and deliver products across Sri Lanka.
Ayodhya Waidyatilaka, Chairman of The Dip & Dye Store is a talented and an upcoming fashion designer graduated from University of Kelaniya, who also completed her secondary degree in fashion and creative arts. She shares her creative insights on designing, tie dying techniques and stitching all the products we sell.

Whitney Fernando, Director Operations is a CIMA passed finalist who graduated from the University of Kelaniya with First Class Honors. She overlooks all the operations in the company using her strategic management skills which are essential to the progress of the company.

Faakhirah Rasheed, Director Finance is a former Business Executive, a graduate from University of Kelaniya passed with First Class Honors and with the highest GPA awarded student in the batch of 2018. She handles all finance and accounting related procedures at the company.

Thilini Witharama, Director Marketing is a freelance marketer and a graduate from University of Kelaniya who also completed SLIM Professional Qualification. She guides and handles all marketing processes including the website, emails and social media channels.

Shenela Fernando, Director Human Resources is a part time lecturer graduated from University of Kelaniya and a CIMA passed finalist. She handles all inquires regarding the employees, suppliers and customers to maintain a healthy relationship among the ecosystem during all company procedures.
